You Have Time

Recently, I have discovered I have more time than I thought. I have had some unforeseen circumstances happen in my life where I needed to find time to visit my Dad more often. When it started, I thought there was no way that I would be able to make enough time to see him as often as I need to. But with a little life adjustment, I was able to make time.

I have made some minor adjustments throughout the day, but when you add them together it allows for quite a bit of freedom. Honestly, one of the big things I needed was a decrease in social media. I use it to post on our Tutors of Life page, but I used to spend a lot of time aimlessly scrolling. Now, I have taken that out of my day, which gives me about an hour of extra time each day. During work, I have started mapping out my days so I can get the most amount of work done in less time. I have been making sure I go to the gym in the mornings before work, so I can go visit my dad after work and then go home to hang out with Shaun. Somedays, I don’t get to see Shaun as much as I used to but now we use the time more effectively.

It is incredible how much easier it is to add more into my day but get all of my tasks done when you plan it out effectively. Before, I would know I had a little extra time to scroll social media, but in the end I would spend more time than I allotted. Now, I have no time to spend scrolling so I just don’t do it. I have been able to be more effective at work because I know I have less time to do all of the things I need. Mine and Shaun’s time has been more impactful because we don’t have as much time together.

It honestly seems like it should be the other way around, but now my days are more structured. I plan my days out as if I am a business scheduling out my clients, but my clients are tasks. If you need help to make your days more impactful, then look at some free app options that are out there. I honestly, love the fact that I am able to get more in a day with the same amount of time as before. Be intentional with your actions. Stop wasting your time with useless garbage like social media or TV shows. If you want to know what is going on in people’s lives then call them. It will send way more of a positive message than just like their Facebook post.

  1. Schedule out your days
  2. Be intentional
  3. Be impactful
  4. Cut out useless garbage

Now, go live a better and more meaningful life. Use the time that you have to the best of your abilities. We only have a certain amount of years, months and days left to live. Don’t you want to look back on it and be proud of what you have done with your time on the Earth. It is never to late to change, so make those change now.
