Recently, I talked about our experience with attending Rob Bailey’s mastermind. My one takeaway from the event was, “You already know what you need to do, you just need to execute.” Today, I want to tell you why this is so true!
You may feel like you need advice because you are not sure where to go next or how to progress your business. At this point in time, I recommend thinking deep on your business and consider where you are lacking. You should know with a little reflection where you are lacking, it probably was not too difficult because you think about it every day. Once you determined where you are lacking, you can proceed with correcting it.
You may not know exactly how to correct this issue but you have identified the issue and that is the first step. Now, we need to critically think about our issue and how to solve it. Spend some time here, do some research if needed. Look up peoples content who you admire and see if they have any information on a similar hang up. Chances are, you are going to find some good information on how to solve the issue.
Now we are at a very critical point. We have identified the issue, we have researched the issue, and thought about how to solve it. Now we need to write out a plan to solve it, within our business or life. This part is crucial in order to have the right process set up, so we will be successful in solving our issue. Once we have the plan calculated out, we can execute!
This is the hardest part of the whole process! Taking action on fixing the issue. The reason this is the hardest, is because it is usually the most uncomfortable. There is probably a reason the issue became and issue. You did not want to address it, due to the level of discomfort it will entail to solve. However, it is crucial you deal with the uncomfortable times, solve this issue, and grow yourself and your business.
Before this mastermind, I would tell people a very similar quote. “I know what I need to do, I just need to execute”. I actually used it as an excuse to Sam, as to why we did not need to go to the mastermind. I am very happy we decided to look past the resistance of excuses and made it a priority to go to the mastermind. It was nice hearing someone way ahead of me, mention the same thing, days after I was saying it to Sam. I currently know what I need to do for my business and Kyle, Sam, and I are in the process of implementing those things.
It will be uncomfortable but it is crucial!
You know what you need to do, you just need to execute.
