Why are you doing what you are doing?
I ask myself this all the time! I also ask other people this when they come to me with shiny objects they want to pursue.
I believe it all comes down to your personal life. What is your “why” in personal life. I believe you need to answer that before you can ask yourself “why” in business. If you do not know what you want in your personal life or why you do the things you do, what is going to stop you from quitting your business when things get tough?
On the contrary, if you know what you want in your personal life and know your personal “why,” you will be able to write a why for your career. You will know what you want your personal life to look like and you can build a career to suit.
Start with personal, then move to business, and you will be able to withstand the storms you are about to face.
