Most of my friends know I have been working out since I was a freshman in high school. I have tried many different realms of working out in the past 11 years. Some healthy and some not so healthy. The past couple years however, I have switched my exercising to match my goals of staying healthy. We only get one body and one life, I realized a couple years ago that I want to keep this body going the best I can. A healthy lifestyle can say a lot about someone’s character.
In order to have worked out consistently for the past 11 years, I have needed a lot of dedication and persistence. Changes do not happen overnight when it comes to health and fitness. It is a long steady process, that if you are consistent, you will have great results. Once you have reached a level of health you are happy with, you then have to maintain it. The work does not stop here, now you have to perform these tasks, day in and day out for the foreseeable future. The work does not end, it has to be a part of your new life.
Becoming healthy takes sacrifice from all realms of your life. That means when you go grocery shopping, you need to buy healthy options. You need to meal prep or make sure your schedule allows you to cook healthy meals throughout the day. You have to set up an exercise plan to make sure you are exercising regularly. You need to allot the time needed to exercise and meal prep every week. You have to get 7-8hrs of sleep a night, which means you have to plan out your day so you can make sure you are in bed at a reasonable time to get the right amount of sleep. If you have friends who want to go out to eat and have drinks all the time, you will need to get good at turning your friends down, because doing those activities too frequently do not align with your goals in life. Living a healthy lifestyle takes so much sacrifice and I believe that is why more people do not live a healthy lifestyle.
Just like health, wealth takes time, persistence, and a whole lot of sacrifice! I believe if you have a solid foundation of health, it can make becoming wealthy so much easier. You already have all the standards and habits from being healthy. Now all you need to do is learn and gather the tools to become wealthy. Once you have those, you implement them in your life. You have already learned how to exercise, eat healthy, and sacrifice things in your life to become healthy. Now do the same thing with wealth. Learn how to budget and implement a budget. Learn how to increase your income and implement that process. Learn how to invest and implement investing into your future. The list goes on and on, but you get the point.
Build your wealth through your health. On the opposite side, if you are already wealthy and lack the health portion, you have the habits and standards to be healthy. Now all you have to do is learn how to be healthy and implement it into your life.
I think everyone should take health seriously if you want to live a long and fruitful life. If you want to be financially free and wealthy, it can bring you loads of freedom and enjoyment throughout life!
