Don’t Stop the Lead Funnel

For those of you in business, it is easy to get caught up in the day to day “busyness.” The problem is, we need to always be thinking about the activities which drive the business forward and keep us in business. One of the main ways to do this is continue marketing, no matter how much work you have.

I am very guilty of this, I will get a bunch of work in, then I will stop thinking about filling up my funnel and continuing to book work. Instead we focus on getting the work done, then when we are only booked out a month, we panic and have to start doing a lot of marketing to book our schedule back up.

Never forget about the tactics which get you to where you are at. Even if you have a bunch of work, continue marketing. Worst case scenario, you will be able to be picky with your jobs and charge a premium. This will help the growth and status of your company big time!

If you are continuously booked out 3-6 months, you are the person in power, not the job or customer you need to close.

Keep your lead funnel full. Set aside time every week to market and sell.
