Figuring Out Your Health

Shaun and I are pretty health conscious, but we still have some holes in our diet plan. We started eating healthier about 6 years ago. Mainly because our stomachs never felt good, and I was never hungry in the afternoon. Shaun had ended up in the hospital at one point for having gull sludge, so we needed to clean the diet up to make sure that doesn’t affect him long term.

Now, we are still eating the same diet, but have modified it over the years. We paid attention to how food was making us feel and adjusted accordingly. We tried have overnight oats in the morning, but that made us feel sluggish and bloated. So, we cut that out of the diet. Beef made us feel energized and good, so that is the stable of our diet. The best that I felt was when I was doing 75 Hard. This was the time we were the most strict with our diet. No sugar, no alcohol, no processed foods and it was amazing. My body felt so good, and my mind felt clear for the first time. But months after we finished that, my body broke out with multiple psoriasis patches, and we still aren’t sure if it is because I am not as strict now or from other causes.

Shaun and I are now on the hunt to figure out our skin issues. He has had severe acne all of his life, and has been told it is hormonal. We think that it probably has something to do with what we are eating. A few weeks ago, we went and got a blood allergy panel done, to see what foods are affecting our bodies. One of the big shocks to us, is that Shaun is moderately allergic to eggs and I am slightly allergic to eggs. This I guess is very common due to most vaccines being made with eggs. The other foods that we are allergic to, don’t affect us too much since we don’t eat them on a regular basis.

The next phase of this is to get a mold panel done as well. This panel will tell us what molds are in our systems, and we can work towards getting it out of our bodies. Our bodies have something obviously affecting them, and the best way to tell is with your skin. The skin is the biggest organ of your body, and when things happen to it, it means that your body is trying to push out some type of infection usually. Once we get that panel back, we will make some more adjustments in our eating to help our skin clear up.

Now, that last thing I want say about health, is learning some natural ways to heal your body. There are plenty of books out there that can help you and teach you what you need to know. Some of the things that we have done is using cayenne pepper as an ibuprofin. It helps with muscle aches, or any other type of pain that you are in. plus, we are going to try some teas that help with allergies and a liver cleanse. We only have one body, and Shaun and I are trying to treat our the best ways possible. It helps to try and think of how they used to take care of people in the past. Modern medicine is a great thing, but we do need to go back to our ancestral times for some solutions.

Go out there and be healthy. Fight against what everyone else is doing. Stop eating out at fast food places and using microwaves. Start cooking your own meals and healing your bodies.
